Update On Roxanne Perez Current Status And Future NXT Plans


 Roxanne Perez retained the NXT women’s title last week beating Meiko Satomura, however the show went off the air with the champ being taken out of the arena on a stretcher.                                                                Not because Satimura attacked her, the defeated challenger was actually lifting her opponent’s arm in the air out of sportsmanship when Roxanne collapsed in the middle of the ring.                                                                        While some fans may have feared for the worst, others noticed parallels with an angle from 1995 on RAW involving Shawn Michaels who collapsed in the middle of a match against Owen Hart.                                                           Unsurprising to see this angle been recycled since Shawn Michaels is now the man in charge of NXT creative.  It was also HBK who kept the ball rolling this week, revealing that due to Perez’s health issues she may need to be stripped of the women’s title and a new champion might be crowd at the next NXT PLE Stand & Deliver which is now in less than 3 weeks.                                                                 If that does happen, the new champion will be crowned in a ladder match. Michaels has already started preparing for that eventuality allowing 2 superstars to already qualify for that  match, Zoey Stark and Gigi Dolin.                      If you were still in any doubt on whether if Perez’s injury was real, this weeks NXT show at least confirmed this is all a part of the story. A story that likely will end with Roxanne been added to the ladder match after everyone has already qualified.                                                   No way to cancel that match at this point, which means Perez whose injury will likely been played up throughout will have to overcome the odds and climb the ladder to remain champion at Stand & Deliver.                 If she does that, Perez will be cemented as a strong champion moving forward, if she doesn’t, this may well mean that she is already wanted on the main roster.

Wrestlemania Angle Planned For WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony ?

 A new hint has emerged on a potential storyline angle that could take place at the 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.                    Ahead of Wrestlemania 39 several wrestling veterans will be inducted into the hall of fame on Friday March 31.                                             WWE has confirmed that current Smackdown star Rey Mysterio will be part of the class of 2023.                                                                   Rey is currently feuding with his son Dominik Mysterio, after months of tormenting his father, Dominik has challenged him to a match at Wrestlemania which Rey has been reluctant to accept.                                                              There has been speculations that one final angle involving Rey and Dominik will take place at the Hall of Fame ceremony ahead of à Wrestlemania showdown.                                    These rumors have now been acknowledged by WWE commentator Corey Graves who has asked Dominik to leave his fath

Former WWE Superstar Gangrel Is Rumored To Be Part Of Edge’s Entrance At Wrestlemania 39

According to PWInsider Elite, former WWE superstar Gangrel is been flown into Los Angeles for this year’s event.                               The plan seem to be for him to take part in Edge’s entrance ahead of his Hell in a Cell match against the leader of Judgement Day Finn Balor.                                                           Further reports note that there is talk of Gangrel getting physical during the match, potentially working on a spot with Damian Priest.  Fans will remember Gangrel as the vampire leader of The Brood during the Attitude Era, a faction consisted of him, Edge and  Christian Cage.                                             Their goth faction was extremely over with the fans, and while Edge and Christian eventually moved to become bigger stars, Gangrel is still very active in the wrestling industry.                  Word is that he wanted to appear for WWE before and they’d shown interest but the timing never worked.
