EXCLUSIVE : FTR Getting AEW Backstage Heat For Supporting CM Punk

 

CM Punk recently set social media on fire with a now deleted Instagram post where he openly blasted John Moxley and Chris Jericho, also criticized the AEW management team for making him defending the AEW world title against John Moxley while not been medically cleared a few months ago.                                    On his latest edition of YouTube SPOILER WARNING, wrestling journalist Tom Colohue revealed that ÇM Punk has deleted his Instagram post at the request of AEW owner Tony Khan himself, but also provided an update on what repercussions this post has no generated within the AEW locker room, here is what he said :                                                     «  CM Punk was in fact told directly by Tony Khan to remove his Instagram post for many reasons, the most prominent of which is it leads AEW into disrepute.                                    There is a clause in Punk’s contract who said that he is not allowed to do anything that could potentially lead the company into disrepute, there are several instances that created a problem, firstly. the attack on John Moxley and Chris Jericho, and also the insinuation that he was forced to wrestle injured.                              This is part of an ongoing issue which I cannot say more about at this time, but it’s one of the main reasons ÇM Punk is currently trying to get out of his contract and Tony Khan is not permitting him to do so.                                        Tony Khan wants CM Punk to return to AEW, Punk to my knowledge is not particularly interested, most of the AEW locker room’s leaders are now not on the side of ÇM Punk, names like Kenny Omega, John Moxley, Chris Jericho even Bryan Danielson are now firmly not on the side of ÇM Punk.                                 This has created a lot of difficulties for fans and supporters of ÇM Punk, for example FTR,         FTR and particularly Dax Harwood has been very open and very blunt about the fact that he support ÇM Punk, and it has made FTR ennemis backstage, it has created that certains peoples are now not really willing to work with FTR. they want to do so for the good of their careers or the development of high quality matches but a lot of peoples are very unhappy with ÇM Punk and now with FTR by extension.                                                              This is just coming from the AEW locker room rather than AEW management. «                        ÇM Punk hasn’t appear on AEW television since September 4th 2022 when he defended John Moxley for the AEW world title before been suspended and stripped of the title.             As Regarding FTR, their AEW contract will come to and end by the end of April, and they h have made a huge statement on the last episode of AEW Dynamite, claiming that they will leave the company if they are unsuccessful in regaining the AEW tag team titles against the Gunn’s Club.                                                  Follow Tom Colohue on Twitter @Colohue and join him on SPOILER WARNING every Monday and Friday 5 PM ET 10 PM UK on YouTube.

 A new hint has emerged on a potential storyline angle that could take place at the 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.                    Ahead of Wrestlemania 39 several wrestling veterans will be inducted into the hall of fame on Friday March 31.                                             WWE has confirmed that current Smackdown star Rey Mysterio will be part of the class of 2023.                                                                   Rey is currently feuding with his son Dominik Mysterio, after months of tormenting his father, Dominik has challenged him to a match at Wrestlemania which Rey has been reluctant to accept.                                                              There has been speculations that one final angle involving Rey and Dominik will take place at the Hall of Fame ceremony ahead of à Wrestlemania showdown.                                    These rumors have now been acknowledged by WWE commentator Corey Graves who has asked Dominik to leave his fath

Former WWE Superstar Gangrel Is Rumored To Be Part Of Edge’s Entrance At Wrestlemania 39

According to PWInsider Elite, former WWE superstar Gangrel is been flown into Los Angeles for this year’s event.                               The plan seem to be for him to take part in Edge’s entrance ahead of his Hell in a Cell match against the leader of Judgement Day Finn Balor.                                                           Further reports note that there is talk of Gangrel getting physical during the match, potentially working on a spot with Damian Priest.  Fans will remember Gangrel as the vampire leader of The Brood during the Attitude Era, a faction consisted of him, Edge and  Christian Cage.                                             Their goth faction was extremely over with the fans, and while Edge and Christian eventually moved to become bigger stars, Gangrel is still very active in the wrestling industry.                  Word is that he wanted to appear for WWE before and they’d shown interest but the timing never worked.
